Is your family looking for a loving dog who loves to play? This month in Megan’s Menagerie, I am promoting 3-year-old dog, Aster. Aster is a spayed, blue Hound who likes attention. Aster came to the shelter on January 17 and is looking for a loving owner.

Aster came to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter from Highland County Shelter because of an owner surrender. That owner surrendered up to 60 hound dogs! When I was at the animal shelter I saw many hounds and wondered why. Once I found out that Aster was a surrender with 60 other hounds, I understood why.

When I visited Aster, she was so excited for a visitor. She jumped up on the bars of her cage, and stuck her nose out. It was really funny. When she jumped up, I noticed that her paws were huge! She was so cute and wanted lots of attention!

Aster is a sweet hound girl waiting for her forever home! Aster does well with all people and other dogs. If you want a loving dog for your family, visit the Loudoun County Animal Shelter today!
