Is your family looking for a dog to light up your home? Well, in that case… in this month in Megan’s Menagerie, Queenie is the dog to bring home. Queenie is 2 years old, and is looking for a place to call her home. Queenie is a female, American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. But when you are deciding whether to adopt a dog, it is always good to get a dog who is potty trained (or what they call housebroken). And in this case, Queenie is already housebroken!

Queenie is a very expressive dog. Whatever emotion she is feeling, you can see it! Her face will show if she is on cloud nine, or if she is not a fan. Queenie loves everyone! She likes every person that she meets! But, she needs lots of love, so she is a dog that will stay with you wherever you go. If Queenie is the right dog for you, you still need to make sure your home falls into these categories:

  1. No cats around
  2. Queenie would be the only pet in the house
  3. No kids under the age of 4

Before you go off running to the animal shelter to go adopt Queenie, you still need to know one more thing. Queenie was tested positive for heartworm. She will be treated in 30 days because she was just spayed. Once she has been treated, she will need 4-6 weeks for recovery. Don’t worry about the money, Save The Tails will be paying for her treatment even after she has been adopted!

If Queenie is the right dog for you, contact [email protected] to set up an apointment to take her home!
